The problem
Where education marketing leaks.
Four problems we plan around before a single rupee or dirham goes into media.
Admissions happen in narrow windows
Plus-two, NEET and KEAM results land between May and July, and study-abroad demand bunches months ahead of the September and January intakes. Miss the window and a year of leads goes to whoever was already running.
Two buyers, one decision
The student scrolls Reels. The parent, often working in the Gulf, pays the fee and asks about results, hostels and refunds. Creative that speaks to only one of them stalls at the counselling desk.
Counsellors drown in weak enquiries
Cheap lead forms bring in class-eight students asking about MBBS abroad, and wrong numbers. Without scoring and a CRM, counsellors call the easiest leads, not the best ones.
Claims now carry legal risk
The CCPA's 2024 coaching guidelines ban misleading claims about selections, ranks and job guarantees, and require written consent from toppers after they qualify. The old rank-banner playbook needs a rethink.
The fix
What we do about it.
Each fix maps to a service we run in-house in Calicut for education brands in Kerala, across India and in the GCC.

FAQ
Education marketing, answered.
When should we start admission campaigns?
Before the results, not after. For plus-two and entrance coaching, awareness starts in March and April and lead campaigns peak from results day through July. Study-abroad consultancies should start six to nine months before the September and January intakes, and language academies run all year with pushes before exam dates.
Can we advertise our toppers and results?
Carefully. Under the CCPA's 2024 guidelines on coaching ads, you need the student's written consent taken after they've qualified, and the ad must disclose their rank, the course they took, its duration and whether it was paid, in the same font size as the claim. 'Guaranteed selection' and 100% placement claims are out. We set up consent capture and disclosure templates before the first creative.
Do you target parents in the Gulf?
Yes. Many Kerala students' fees are paid by parents in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. We run parent-specific campaigns timed to Gulf evenings, with content on results, hostel safety and fees, and promote online or vacation batches to GCC-based students preparing for NEET and other entrance exams.
What does a study-abroad consultancy spend on ads?
Most start between ₹60,000 and ₹1.5 lakh a month in media for two or three destination countries, plus a flat management fee. Cost per lead swings widely by country and course, so we report cost per counselling session and per file opened. Those are the numbers that actually drive revenue.
Can you promote OET, IELTS and German courses for nurses?
Yes. It's one of Kerala's busiest education niches. We plan around exam dates and overseas recruitment drives, target working nurses in Kerala and the Gulf, and keep claims about jobs and visas honest: no guarantees, clear fees and real batch dates.
