Skymark Education: Video, Meta ads and a CRM for a Kerala study abroad brand

Skymark Education is a study abroad consultancy with six offices across Kerala, from Trivandrum to Kannur.

It helps students choose a country, a course and a budget that fit, then works on scholarships, loans and the visa. We make its video and social media creatives, more than 60 videos a month, and run its Meta ads, with over ₹15 lakh of Meta ad spend behind them. We designed skymark.in and built Skymark a custom CRM for its leads; Skymark has since moved to Xale and has run on it for two years. The figures are as reported by our team.

The consultancy

What does Skymark Education do for students?

Skymark Education is a study abroad consultancy from Kerala. It dates itself to 2010, it is an ICEF-accredited agency, and it runs six offices across the state: Trivandrum, Kochi, Kannur, Kozhikode, Kottayam and Manjeri, where the head office is. Its ads and profiles list Dubai too.

The work starts with the question most families find harder than they expect: where should I study, and what can we afford? Skymark's counsellors begin there, in a free session, helping a student choose the country that suits their plans, the course they actually want and a budget the family can carry.

Then comes the long middle: a shortlist of universities, IELTS or another test, applications with the statement of purpose and references, the offer, and the search for scholarships and an education loan. It ends with a visa and a flight. The UK and Ireland lead Skymark's ads today, and its site lists Germany, the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand as well.

  • Universities, tests and applications, then scholarships and loans
  • The visa, and help before departure

The brief

Why does a study abroad brand live on video?

Nobody picks a study abroad consultancy on a whim. A student and their parents can spend months on the decision, much of it on Instagram and YouTube, watching reels about countries, courses, costs and visas long before they call anyone. Every consultancy in Kerala is in that feed, and most of them promise the same things.

What sets one apart is how well, and how often, it answers the real questions. Which country suits my marks? What will it cost? Which course do I pick? Is there a scholarship? Each one answered by a person, plainly, and then answered again for the next intake. That is a game of volume as much as quality, so the job was never a single campaign. It was a steady engine of creatives, with the ads and the follow-up built around it.

The creative engine

How do you keep up 60+ videos a month?

With a system, not a scramble. Every video answers one question, and the question goes on screen in the first second, in big type over the presenter: a country, a set of subjects, an intake that's open now. Someone scrolling with the sound off still knows what the video is about before deciding to stay.

Presenters talk straight to camera, on a studio set or outdoors, in a garden or a courtyard. The edit carries the rest: captions, flags and numbers land on the beat, so the answer arrives fast and the video still feels like a person talking, not an advert.

Our team reports more than 60 video creatives a month for Skymark, plus the social media creatives that run beside them on its pages. All of it is produced by Marketlube.

Events

Why does a study abroad conclave need video twice?

Skymark runs study abroad events it calls the Abroad Edu Conclave: a hotel ballroom full of students, universities at their own tables under their banners, and speakers on stage. An event like that needs video twice. Before, to fill the room. After, to show the room to everyone who wasn't in it.

Two pieces from those events have been in our portfolio since January 2025: a vertical promo reel for the 2024 edition, with a presenter, the conclave logo, the venue and the date, 14 December, and a film from a conclave itself: the rows of students, the banners, the talks, closing on the Skymark logo. The film is landscape, so it works on a big screen as well as a phone.

Meta ads

Where does the ad money go?

Our team reports over ₹15 lakh of Meta ad spend for Skymark: media spend on Facebook and Instagram, where the students it wants to reach already watch study abroad reels. Our own fees are billed separately and not published here.

The creative engine is what makes that spend work. An ad account that runs one tired video for months pays more for every lead; one that always has a new country, course or intake to try keeps finding the students who are ready to talk.

Anyone can see the scale of Skymark's Meta programme in Meta's public Ad Library. On 30 Sep 2026 it listed 66 active ads from Skymark Education's page, 43 of them started that month. The Library shows Skymark's ads, not who made each one. Most were video, written in Malayalam with the course names in English, each built around one course or one offer, with a WhatsApp chat as the next step. The UK came up most, then Ireland, with courses from nursing and teaching to law, healthcare management and hospitality, and scholarships and budget as the two hooks that kept coming back.

  • Media spend only, billed apart from our fees

Leads

What happens to every enquiry?

Reels and ads only pay off if every enquiry gets a reply, and a study abroad enquiry can take weeks of calls before a student applies. At Skymark's volume that can't live in counsellors' phones and personal chats, so we built Skymark a custom CRM for its internal lead management.

Skymark later moved to Xale, the CRM built by the team behind Marketlube for study abroad consultancies, colleges and academies, and has run on it for two years. Xale is built around how a consultancy actually sells: one student with several university applications, deposits, visas and loans, and Meta lead ads and WhatsApp coming straight in. In our founder's words, Skymark is “Xale's most loyal client”.

The website

What did we design for skymark.in?

The website is where a family checks whether the consultancy from the reels feels credible, so we designed it to feel calm and trustworthy rather than salesy.

One clear promise, “Your trusted study abroad partner”, sits beside a dotted globe on the brand's soft green-to-blue gradient, with key figures in a panel right under it, so the proof arrives before the first scroll.

Large navy headings and plenty of white space let the information breathe, and the phone layout was designed alongside the desktop rather than squeezed down from it, because that's where many students will see it first. The same design has been live on skymark.in since around February 2025.

The result

Where does Skymark stand today?

In our team's words, Skymark is now one of the most recognised study abroad names in Kerala and South India. That is our account, so here is what anyone can check.

On 30 Sep 2026 its six offices had 2,042 Google reviews between them, rated 4.6 to 4.9. Its Instagram, @skymark.education, had 63K followers and more than 3,100 posts, its Facebook page 16,146 followers, and its YouTube channel about 1,500 videos.

Those numbers are Skymark's own, built by its counsellors and its students over years, before and alongside our work. We don't publish Skymark's leads, costs per lead or admissions: those belong to Skymark.

For the next consultancy

What we'd tell another study abroad consultancy.

Answer one question per video, and put it on screen in the first second. Students scroll past dozens of consultancies; the one that answers their exact question is the one they stop for.

Then make enough of them. A few polished films a year can't cover every country, course and intake a student asks about, and a steady run of plain, honest answers can. Have the CRM ready before the ads grow, so every chat and every form reaches a counsellor who follows it up.

  • One question per video, on screen in the first second
  • A steady run of answers over the occasional big film
  • Every enquiry in a CRM before the ads grow

The ₹15 lakh is media spend on Meta only, with no period attached; our fees are billed separately and not published. The review, follower, video and ad counts on this page were read from Skymark's public pages on 30 Sep 2026. They are Skymark's numbers, not results we claim, and the Ad Library shows Skymark's ads, not who made each one. “One of the most recognised study abroad names in Kerala and South India” is our team's account. The counters on skymark.in in our captures are Skymark's own figures. We don't publish Skymark's lead, enquiry or admission numbers.
