The problem
Where hotels & tourism marketing leaks.
Four problems we plan around before a single rupee or dirham goes into media.
OTAs take the margin
Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Agoda and Expedia fill rooms, then keep 15–25% of every stay and the guest's contact details. A property that sells mostly through OTAs is paying rent on its own guests.
A website that can't take a booking
Slow galleries, a 'contact us for rates' form and no live availability send guests straight back to the OTA, often after they found you on Instagram.
Seasons pull in opposite directions
October to March brings peak domestic and European demand; the monsoon brings Ayurveda guests and Gulf families escaping 45° summers. One generic campaign can't serve both.
Guests decide on visuals
Travellers compare a dozen properties on Instagram and Google in minutes. Dated photos, no reels and unanswered reviews lose the shortlist before price is even considered.
The fix
What we do about it.
Each fix maps to a service we run in-house in Calicut for hotel and tourism brands in Kerala, across India and in the GCC.

How do we get more direct bookings and fewer OTA bookings?
Don't switch the OTAs off. Use them for discovery and win the returning guest. That means a website with a live booking engine, a clear book-direct perk, Google Hotels booking links, and remarketing to people who looked but didn't book. Offering perks rather than lower rates keeps you within OTA rate-parity terms.
When should a Kerala resort start marketing each season?
Six to eight weeks before guests book: August and September for the October–March peak, April and May for monsoon and Ayurveda packages and for Gulf families planning July–August trips, and early October for Christmas and New Year, which sell out first.
Can you market our property to GCC travellers?
Yes. Gulf families come to Kerala for the monsoon and the green hills, and Malayali expats book staycations while they're home. We can run campaigns for both across the GCC, timed to Gulf school holidays and Eid breaks.
Do you market Ayurveda resorts and wellness retreats?
Yes. We plan around the Karkidakam season in July and August and the winter season for European guests, lead with the physicians, programmes and Kerala Tourism Ayurveda classification, and keep treatment claims within Indian advertising rules.
What does a hotel website with a booking engine cost?
Most resort websites land between ₹80,000 and ₹3 lakh, depending on pages, languages and integrations; the booking engine and channel manager are usually a separate subscription you keep. GCC hotel sites typically fall between AED 10,000 and AED 30,000.
