We aren't an Odoo partner, and we build custom ERPs as modules on the Xale platform (reported by our team), which Odoo competes with. Every Odoo figure here is from Odoo's own pricing pages for India, read on 9 October 2026, and every implementation range is the implementer's own, linked and dated; where Odoo is the better buy, we say so.

This guide is for owners and finance heads in India pricing Odoo before a sales call: what each plan costs, what Standard leaves out, what an implementation costs from Odoo and from implementers, and what three years add up to at 10, 25 and 50 users.

What does Odoo cost in India in 2026?#

Odoo shows each visitor the prices for their own country. From India, on 9 October 2026, odoo.com/pricing (opens in a new tab) showed:

PlanBilled yearlyBilled monthlyFirst 12 months, for the users on a first orderWhat it covers
One App Free₹0₹0One app, plus any apps it depends on, for unlimited users on Odoo Online
Standard₹725 a user a month₹950₹580 yearly, ₹760 monthlyEvery app, hosted on Odoo Online
Custom₹1,350 a user a month₹1,690₹1,080 yearly, ₹1,350 monthlyEvery app, plus Odoo Studio, agentic AI, multi-company and the external API; on Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or your own servers

A light user, for staff who only need self-service such as their time off, expenses, attendance and payslips, the point of sale or the shop floor, costs ₹195 a month and is arranged through an Odoo advisor. Odoo's page says every plan includes "unlimited support, hosting and maintenance". It doesn't say whether the prices include GST, so check the total at checkout.

The Custom figure is the one to watch. When Odoo 20 launched, Odoo's announcement of 24 September 2026 (opens in a new tab) said the free one-app plan stays, Standard prices stay the same and the Custom plan's rate rises by 20%. The India page showed ₹1,350 when we read it; check it again before you budget.

Odoo counts as a paying user anyone who logs in to the back end to create, view or edit records, and any employee record in its HR app that has no user of its own. Customers and suppliers who only use the portal don't count.

What does an Odoo implementation cost in India?#

Implementation is the work of fitting Odoo to your business: mapping how you work, configuring the apps, importing your data, customising what doesn't fit and training your team. Odoo's pricing page sets out who usually does it: companies under 50 employees usually work with Odoo directly through Success Packs, companies above 50 usually work with a partner offering local project management, and companies of 250 or more contact Odoo.

What do Odoo's own Success Packs cost?#

Odoo's Success Packs (opens in a new tab) are blocks of a dedicated consultant's hours, priced in rupees for India:

PackHoursRecommended forPriceFor a new customer's first pack (15% off)
Starter4Simple apps, 1 to 5 users₹18,580₹15,793
Basic25Simple apps₹95,570₹81,234.50
Standard50Advanced apps and a data import₹1,86,153₹1,58,230.05
Custom100Advanced apps, a data import and customisations₹3,32,416₹2,82,553.60
Pro200Advanced apps, a data import and customisations₹6,64,831₹5,65,106.35

Read on 9 October 2026. Odoo bills travel time for on-site consulting and travel expenses separately, and charges monthly for maintaining extra modules or lines of code. Above 50 users, it asks for a separate analysis.

That works out to about ₹3,300 to ₹4,650 an hour of a consultant's time, so the question that sets the bill is how many hours your set-up needs.

What do Indian implementers publish?#

Partners price by scope. Four published Indian ranges, side by side (our compilation, each read on 9 October 2026):

Implementer, and the page's dateA small or near-standard set-upA mid-sized set-upA complex set-up
Braincuber (opens in a new tab) (22 July 2026)₹1.5 to 4 lakh: a few users, core modules, light customisation₹4 to 15 lakh: 10 to 30 users, several modules, GST, some custom reports, one or two integrations₹15 to 40 lakh or more: multi-company, manufacturing, heavy customisation
Ochre Digital (opens in a new tab) (published 17 November 2025, updated 4 August 2026)₹3 to 5 lakh: finance and inventory for a basic SME₹6 to 12 lakh: a multi-department SME₹12 to 20 lakh or more: manufacturing-heavy
Scidecs (opens in a new tab) (updated 20 September 2026), fixed packages₹1.12 lakh: up to 10 users; sales, purchase, inventory, GST and data migration₹5.12 lakh: up to 15 users; adds CRM, manufacturing and basic accounting₹11.52 lakh: up to 25 users; adds quality, maintenance, barcode and documents
UJSS (opens in a new tab) (11 March 2026), the total first year with licences₹2 to 5 lakh: 5 to 10 users on the free Community edition₹5 to 15 lakh: 10 to 50 users₹15 to 50 lakh or more: 50 users and more

Each implementer's own published ranges, excluding Odoo's licences unless the row says otherwise. Several of these pages quote Odoo's licence prices differently from Odoo's own page; for licences, use odoo.com.

Ongoing support is a separate line. Braincuber puts it at 15 to 20% of the implementation a year, and Scidecs' support starts from ₹1.2 lakh a year.

What's in Standard, and what needs Custom?#

Standard gives every Odoo app, hosted on Odoo Online, without custom modules. Odoo's page says Custom is for companies that want several companies in one database, or need to customise Odoo through Odoo Studio, agentic AI, custom development or the API. Three practical tests:

  • Will other software call Odoo? Odoo calls that the external API: a legacy system, a reporting tool or your own app reading or updating Odoo's data. It needs Custom. When Odoo itself calls an outside service, such as a payment provider, a courier or bank synchronisation, it stays in Standard.
  • Do you run more than one company? Multi-company is a Custom feature on the paid plans, although the One App Free plan allows it too.
  • Will anyone add Studio or custom modules? Installing Studio or adding companies switches a database to Custom automatically, and custom modules need Custom on Odoo.sh or your own servers, because Odoo Online hosts databases without them.

For Indian compliance, Odoo's documentation for its India localisation (opens in a new tab) (version 20.0, read 9 October 2026) covers e-invoicing through the NIC portal, e-way bills, GSTR-1 filing and GSTR-2B reconciliation, and TDS and TCS.

What does Odoo cost over three years?#

Licences alone, at 10, 25 and 50 users, all on the same plan, before tax, from our cost model:

Licences over three years10 users25 users50 users
Standard, billed yearly at ₹725₹2.61 lakh₹6.53 lakh₹13.05 lakh
Standard with the first-year price (₹580 in year one)₹2.44 lakh₹6.09 lakh₹12.18 lakh
Custom, billed yearly at ₹1,350₹4.86 lakh₹12.15 lakh₹24.30 lakh
Custom with the first-year price (₹1,080 in year one)₹4.54 lakh₹11.34 lakh₹22.68 lakh
Standard, billed monthly at ₹950₹3.42 lakh₹8.55 lakh₹17.10 lakh

Users × the monthly price × 36. The first-year rows assume every user was on the first order. Light users at ₹195 would lower the bill for staff who only need self-service.

Add an implementation and support, and the totals change shape. With the ranges Braincuber publishes (₹1.5 to 4 lakh at 10 users; ₹4 to 15 lakh at 25 users, and at 50 users as our assumption) and support at 15 to 20% of the implementation a year:

All-in over three years10 users25 users50 users
Odoo Standard: licences, implementation and support₹4.79 to 9.01 lakh₹12.32 to 30.52 lakh₹18.85 to 37.05 lakh
Odoo Custom: the same, before Odoo.sh hosting₹7.04 to 11.26 lakh₹17.95 to 36.15 lakh₹30.10 to 48.30 lakh

Our model, at list licence prices, before GST. A near-standard set-up on Odoo's own Success Packs can cost less: at 10 users, Standard licences plus a 50-hour pack come to about ₹4 to 4.5 lakh over three years.

The pattern: for a small team close to Odoo's standard processes, Odoo Standard is very hard to beat on price, and the free one-app plan costs nothing at all.

Our own route is modules on Xale. We configure and extend an ERP a module at a time on the platform Xale runs on (opens in a new tab). Our team built Xale's CRM, and builds ERP and HR modules on the same platform (reported by our team); the Xale case study sets out the platform underneath, and what we build on it. It is paid as one fee for the build, with a first module, on the foundation the platform already has (users, roles, branches, an audit log and backups), from ₹4 lakh and each further module from ₹2 lakh, before GST. Or it is taken as a subscription, which runs on one of Xale's own plans: priced per workspace, with every feature included and no per-user licence, as Xale's pricing page (opens in a new tab) lists them. Enterprise custom deployment and enterprise pricing are available on request. Set beside the licences above, the fee for a first module is more than three years of Odoo Standard at 10 users (₹2.61 lakh) and less than three years of it at 25 (₹6.53 lakh), before support and running costs on our side and an implementation on Odoo's. Where Standard's apps fit how you work, Odoo is the cheaper answer; our custom ERP vs Odoo and Zoho comparison sets our one-fee prices beside every Odoo and Zoho plan at 10, 25 and 50 users, and works out where a build breaks even.

What costs extra?#

Odoo's pricing page lists what its plans don't include:

  • Hosting on Odoo.sh for custom development, billed on Odoo.sh's own price list. Odoo Online hosting is included, with storage up to 100 GB.
  • Implementation and Odoo's expert services, the Success Packs above.
  • In-app purchase credits for SMS, contact autocomplete, lead generation and the AI that scans vendor bills and expenses.
  • Maintenance of custom code.

The implementers' guides add the lines that most often swell a quote. Braincuber's breakdown of 8 July 2026 (opens in a new tab) prices data migration from Tally or Excel at ₹1 to 3 lakh, each third-party integration at ₹50,000 to 2 lakh and training at ₹50,000 to 1.5 lakh. A firm moving off Tally with two integrations can spend more on these lines than on a small implementation itself, so ask for each one by name. Our guide to ERP implementation in India covers the migration and the go-live in more detail.

AI is the newest extra. Odoo's Custom plan lists agentic AI, and its credits for features such as scanning bills are bought separately; our guide to AI in ERP compares what Odoo, Zoho Books and Tally ship.

What about Odoo's prices in the UAE and Saudi Arabia?#

We don't print them. Odoo prices by the visitor's country, and from India its page shows rupees only, so we couldn't read the Gulf list ourselves, and we don't print third-party trackers' figures in its place. If you're in the UAE, Qatar or Saudi Arabia, open odoo.com/pricing from your own country and note the date.

What we can say from Odoo's own documentation: its Saudi Arabia localisation for version 20 describes a ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing integration. In the UAE, e-invoicing through an Accredited Service Provider begins in 2027, and our UAE e-invoicing guide lists what any accounting system, Odoo included, has to handle.

Frequently asked questions#

What's the difference between Odoo Standard and Custom?#

Both include every Odoo app. Standard runs on Odoo Online without custom modules, at ₹725 a user a month billed yearly in India. Custom, at ₹1,350, adds Odoo Studio, agentic AI, multi-company and the external API, and can run on Odoo.sh or your own servers (Odoo's India pricing page, read 9 October 2026).

Do Odoo's prices include GST?#

Odoo's pricing page doesn't say. Check the total at checkout before you compare it with a price that excludes GST.

How much does Odoo cost for 10 users?#

At list prices billed yearly, 10 users cost ₹87,000 a year on Standard and ₹1.62 lakh on Custom, or ₹2.61 lakh and ₹4.86 lakh over three years, before tax. Lower first-year prices apply to the users on a first order, and an implementation comes on top.

What is an Odoo light user?#

A user for staff who only need self-service: their own time off, expenses, appraisals and attendance, payslips, the point of sale or the shop floor. On the India page it costs ₹195 a month, arranged through an Odoo advisor.

How long does an Odoo implementation take in India?#

Implementers publish ranges by size: Braincuber's guide of 8 July 2026 gives about 2 to 3 months for 10 to 20 users on one or two core apps, 3 to 5 months for 20 to 50 users with several apps and integrations, and 6 to 9 months for larger, heavily customised roll-outs.

What to do next#

Count your daily users and the staff who only need self-service, list the apps you would actually use, and price both plans from Odoo's page on the day you decide. If the Standard plan fits how you work, Odoo is very hard to beat at a small team size. If you're weighing it against an ERP on Xale, our pricing page has our own starting prices, and you can talk the choice through with Althameem Ali in a one-hour consultation. Schools, colleges and training institutes choosing between an ERP and a CRM can start with xale.in's guide to ERP vs CRM for educational institutes (opens in a new tab).

Changelog#

  • 2026-10-12: Added our own route beside Odoo's totals: modules configured and extended on Xale, paid as one fee or as a subscription on one of Xale's own plans, which are priced per workspace, with enterprise custom deployment and enterprise pricing on request. The line that set three years of Odoo against most custom builds now sets Odoo Standard's licences at 10 and 25 users against the fee for a first module, and points to the break-even section of our custom ERP vs Odoo and Zoho comparison. The first module is described as it is priced, a module on the foundation the platform already has (users, roles, branches, an audit log and backups), and the line on who built what now reads: our team built Xale's CRM, and builds ERP and HR modules on the same platform (reported by our team). On 13 October the per-user subscription figure this update first carried was withdrawn, with the sums built on it: the subscription is now described as Xale's own per-workspace plans, as Xale's pricing page lists them, and no figure is printed for it.
