Overview

Furnixr sells chairs, tables, pouffes and wall decor online in India. Its Shopify store pairs a warm, gallery-like catalogue with an ordering flow that ends in a WhatsApp conversation, so every order starts with a person.

The brief

Furniture is a considered purchase. Buyers want to ask about finishes, sizes and delivery before they commit, and a cold checkout page loses them.

Furnixr needed a catalogue of a few hundred pieces that felt curated rather than crowded, plus an ordering flow that kept the conversation going instead of ending it at a payment form.

How we approached it

  1. A gallery, not a warehouse

A sand-and-gold look with white product cards, big uppercase headings and a full-bleed hero, so each piece reads like an exhibit.

  2. Shop the way people furnish

A mega menu by category, 'Shop by category' tiles and a 'Shop by room' switch for living, dining and outdoor.

  3. The cart opens a chat

A custom slide-out cart and a repurposed Buy It Now hand the order to WhatsApp, so questions and the order happen in one thread.

  4. Answers before the order

A pincode delivery-estimate check, and product details in accordions for overview, specifications, delivery and warranty.

The outcome

A live Shopify store with a curated catalogue, room-based browsing and WhatsApp ordering, the online showroom for Furnixr's furniture.
