Rawahil Car rental website design for Riyadh, a concept build

Rawahil is a fictional car rental, monthly leasing and chauffeur company in Riyadh, and we built its homepage twice, in English and in right-to-left Arabic, as a model for a rental website in the city. The firm is invented. What is real is the code: the booking card with Daily, Monthly and Chauffeur tabs, a fleet that filters and sorts by class, a monthly leasing calculator and a drawn branch map that sets the pickup branch.

A concept build: Rawahil is a fictional brand we created to show how we design and build a car rental website for Riyadh. It is not a client and not a real company; our client work is on the work page.

Both frames run the real site. Scroll inside them, try the booking card over the hero photo with daily, monthly and chauffeur tabs that work with the arrow keys, and dates that cannot end before they start, or open it in a new tab (Arabic version).

Questions

How should a Riyadh rental website set out documents for citizens, residents and visitors?

As three separate lists, one for each group, so nobody has to read past rules that do not apply to them. Citizens, residents on an iqama and visitors on a tourist visa each bring different documents and licences, and tabs on one section keep the page short. Put the minimum age, the deposit and the rules on driving outside Riyadh beside the lists, because those are the questions that follow.

How should a rental website handle daily rental, monthly leasing and chauffeur bookings?

Each service has a different customer, so it helps to give them separate paths from the first screen, such as tabs on one booking card. Daily renters want dates, a branch and a total; residents and companies leasing by the month want term discounts, kilometre bands and a price for several cars; chauffeur bookings need the service, date and number of passengers. The final step can stay short, with the firm confirming the exact car by phone or message.

Should a Riyadh car rental website have a full Arabic version?

Yes, in most cases. Saudi citizens and many residents search and book in Arabic, while visitors and many expat professionals use English. The Arabic version should be a proper right-to-left page with its own typeface and checked copy, not a machine translation, and both versions should show the same prices and terms.
