Qatar, decoded.

Qatar is a small market in the best and hardest sense. Around three million people, most of them in and around Doha, means a well-made campaign can reach nearly everyone who matters, and a careless one gets noticed by all of them too. First impressions travel fast in a city where contractors, clinics and cafés all know each other.

The audience is layered. Qatari nationals are a minority with outsized influence and high expectations of Arabic content. Alongside them live large South Asian, Arab, Filipino and Western communities, including a big Malayali one. Each is on slightly different platforms, in different languages, at different price points. Lusail and The Pearl, Al Sadd and Al Waab, the Industrial Area and Al Wakrah behave almost like separate markets.

Much of Qatar's economy runs business to business: MEP and facilities contractors, engineering firms, suppliers and consultants that grew with the World Cup build-out and now compete for a steadier pipeline. That's where our Qatar work started. We built Blaze Electromechanical's Instagram from its first post, explaining HVAC, fire-fighting and cabling services one clear post at a time.

We serve Qatar from Calicut, with no Doha office and no pretence of one. The team works Doha hours for most of its day, can fly in for kick-offs and shoots when a project needs it, and pairs Arabic creative for Qatari and Arab audiences with Malayalam and English reach into the country's Keralite community.

Winter is the season

Qatar's marketing year peaks in the cooler months: National Day on 18 December, a packed events calendar from November to March, and National Sport Day in February. Ramadan (from about 8 February in 2027) and Eid move everything, while summer thins Doha out as residents travel, so July and August get leaner always-on budgets.

Frequency over reach

In a market this size, audiences saturate quickly. We cap frequency, rotate creative often and lean on LinkedIn, Google Search and WhatsApp for B2B buyers, who rarely buy from a Reel. Budgets are planned in riyals, usually from QAR 5,000 a month in media for a first campaign.

Licences before offers

Discounts and promotions in Qatar need a licence from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry before they run, and billboards and vehicle ads need their own advertising licence. We build that lead time into every sale calendar and design Arabic and English versions side by side, so both are ready the day approval lands.

Why Qatar brands pick us.

We work as a growth partner, not a supplier: one Calicut team for strategy, creative, media and software, with every riyal you spend planned against the number that matters to you, whether that's enquiries, sales or cost per lead.

  • Proof in Doha

Our Qatar work includes Blaze Electromechanical's social launch, a structured grid that explains technical services to facility managers and property owners.

  • B2B that reads simply

Contractors, suppliers and consultants get one clear promise per post, plus LinkedIn and search campaigns aimed at the people who sign purchase orders.

  • Your Keralite audience

Many Qatar businesses sell to or employ Malayalis. Malayalam is our team's first language, so that audience gets copy that sounds like home, not a translation.

  • Remote, with a return ticket

We're in Calicut, two and a half hours ahead of Doha. Daily work runs over calls and WhatsApp; kick-offs, shoots and launches happen in person.

What we run in Qatar.

The mix Qatar brands ask us for most: strategy, creative, media and software from one Calicut team. The pictures are real Marketlube work. All services

Qatar marketing, answered.

Do you have an office in Qatar?

No. We work from our office in Calicut, Kerala, and fly to Doha when a kick-off, shoot or launch needs us in the room. Doha is two and a half hours behind us, so calls fit comfortably into your working morning.

Have you worked with Qatar businesses before?

Yes. We built the Instagram presence for Blaze Electromechanical Company, a Doha contractor offering HVAC, MEP, fire-fighting and IT cabling services. We started from the very first post and set up a template system its team can keep using.

Do we need a licence to run a sale in Qatar?

Yes. Businesses need a licence from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry before offering discounts or promotions, and billboard or vehicle ads need an advertising licence of their own. We plan campaign timelines so approvals are in hand before the creative goes live.

Which platforms work best in Qatar?

Instagram and Snapchat for consumer brands, TikTok for younger audiences, LinkedIn and Google Search for B2B, and WhatsApp for almost every conversation that leads to a sale. For expat audiences we add Facebook and YouTube, often in Malayalam, Hindi or English.

What should a Qatar business budget for digital marketing?

As a planning range, allow from around QAR 5,000 a month in media for a first paid campaign, paid directly from your own ad accounts, plus a flat monthly management retainer. Organic social without a media budget is also an option for B2B firms starting out.

Same team. Other shores.

One Calicut team runs every market below, each with its own calendar, language and rules.
