The problem

Where healthcare marketing leaks.

Four problems we plan around before a single rupee or dirham goes into media.

  • Patients choose on the map

Many first appointments start in Google's map pack, from searches like 'dentist near me', 'ortho hospital Kozhikode' or 'skin clinic Karama'. That's where rating, review count and a complete profile beat a prettier website.

  • Rules shape every claim

Indian medical-ethics rules stop doctors soliciting patients, the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act bans advertising remedies for a list of conditions, and Gulf regulators pre-approve health ads. Generic agency copy breaks at least one of them.

  • Enquiries that never become visits

A WhatsApp message at 9pm asking what a knee replacement costs gets answered the next afternoon, and the consultation goes elsewhere. Booked slots that don't show cost the same empty chair.

  • Ad platforms guard health data

Meta has removed health-condition targeting and tightened what health advertisers can track, and Google restricts ads for many treatments and medicines. Campaigns have to run on services, locations and consented first-party data.

The fix

What we do about it.

Each fix maps to a service we run in-house in Calicut for healthcare brands in Kerala, across India and in the GCC.

  • SEO & AI Search

    Local SEO and Google Maps

Complete Business Profiles for every branch and senior doctor, treatment pages written the way patients search, and a review request sent at the right moment after each visit.

  • Performance Marketing

    High-intent search campaigns

Google Search for treatments people book now, such as implants, cataract, IVF consults and physiotherapy. Campaigns are built on services and locations, with every claim checked before it goes live.

  • Performance Marketing

    Awareness within the rules

Meta campaigns for health camps, screening drives, new departments and Gulf Malayalis planning treatment at home, kept informative, approved and free of outcome promises.

  • Web Design & Development

    Booking-ready websites

Doctor profiles, speciality pages, OPD timings and one-tap booking or WhatsApp on every page. Fast on a 4G phone and bilingual where the audience needs it.

  • CRM Development

    Patient CRM and reminders

Calls, forms and WhatsApp in one inbox, routed by department, with appointment reminders that cut no-shows. Patient data stays minimal, consented and role-restricted.

  • Video Production

    Doctor-led explainers

Short, factual videos where your specialists answer what patients actually ask: recovery time, cost ranges, when to worry. Education builds trust that promotion can't.

The playbook

Four steps. No guesswork.

How a healthcare engagement runs, from the first brief to revenue you can trace back to a campaign.

  • Step 1

    Compliance brief first

What each speciality can and can't say under Indian rules and DHA, DoH or MoPH standards for Gulf branches, agreed before any copy.

  • Step 2

    Fix the front door

Google profiles, speciality pages and booking routes, so demand that already exists stops leaking to the clinic down the road.

  • Step 3

    Switch on demand

Search for high-intent treatments first, then Meta for camps, launches and GCC patients planning care in Kerala.

  • Step 4

    Measure booked, not clicked

The CRM tracks enquiry to consultation to procedure; monthly reviews move budget to departments with spare capacity.

Markets we run it in

Can hospitals and doctors advertise in India?

Hospitals and clinics can promote their services, facilities and specialities, but medical-ethics rules restrict individual doctors from soliciting patients, and the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act bans advertising remedies for the conditions it lists. ASCI also expects every health claim to be substantiated. We build campaigns around access and education: specialists, timings, technology and camps. Testimonials and outcome claims stay out of ads.

What about clinics in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Qatar?

Health advertising in the Gulf is approved before it runs. In Dubai, the DHA approves medical ads and sets standards for medical content on social media; Abu Dhabi's DoH and the federal MOHAP run their own approvals, and Qatar's Ministry of Public Health polices healthcare ads on social platforms. We build the approval step into the content calendar so campaigns don't stall.

Which works better for a clinic, Google or Instagram?

Google first for most specialities: someone searching 'ENT doctor Calicut' or 'dental implant cost Kozhikode' wants an appointment now. Instagram and Facebook suit dental aesthetics, dermatology, health camps and Ayurveda, and reach Gulf Malayalis who plan treatment for trips home. Plan from about ₹50,000 a month in media in Kerala and AED 5,000+ in the UAE.

Can you market Ayurveda treatments and wellness packages?

Yes, including the Karkidakam season from mid-July to mid-August, when Kerala's monsoon rejuvenation packages peak, and winter programmes for GCC and European guests. Ayurveda falls under the same remedy-advertising limits, so we sell the physicians, the programme and the experience, never cures.

How do you handle patient data?

Minimally. Forms collect only what the front desk needs, data lives in a CRM you own with access by role, and we never upload patient lists to ad platforms without consent. India's DPDP Act and Gulf health-data rules make that the only safe default.
