Interior fit-out and joinery, Doha

Finished as carefully as it was drawn.

Qirmiz takes offices, hotels, shops and private villas from bare shell to handover. One project lead, our own joinery workshop, and a programme you can plan your opening around.

Services

Six trades under one roof, one person answerable for all of them.

  1. 01

    Office fit-out

Reception, workspace, meeting rooms and the ceilings, partitions and services behind them. We work around landlord rules and building management in the towers of West Bay and Lusail.

    Typical programme10 to 16 weeks

  2. 02

    Hospitality fit-out

Lounges, restaurants, guest floors and majlis suites built to operator standards, with back-of-house that survives a full service.

    Typical programme12 to 20 weeks

  3. 03

    Retail fit-out

Shopfronts and interiors for mall units and street retail, planned backwards from your opening date and the mall's handover window.

    Typical programme6 to 10 weeks

  4. 04

    Villa fit-out

Majlis, family living, kitchens and suites for private homes. Discreet teams, protected floors, and one point of contact for the family.

    Typical programme16 to 28 weeks

  5. 05

    Joinery

Wall panelling, doors, wardrobes, reception desks and screens, made and finished in our own workshop and installed by the same joiners.

    Typical programme6 to 12 weeks

  6. 06

    MEP coordination

Lighting, power, air conditioning and fire services coordinated into one set of drawings before anything is cut, so the ceiling closes once.

Process

From first survey to the keys in your hand.

Six stages and one project lead, so you always know which week you are in and what happens next.

  1. Week 0 to 1

    01

    Survey and brief

We measure the space, photograph every service, and write your brief back to you in one page.

  2. Weeks 1 to 4

    02

    Design and drawings

Our designers, or yours. Either way we produce coordinated shop drawings and a fixed scope.

  3. Weeks 3 to 5

    03

    Samples and approvals

Physical samples on your table, landlord and authority submissions handled by us.

  4. Weeks 4 to 10

    04

    Workshop and procurement

Joinery goes into production in our workshop while long-lead items are ordered and tracked.

  5. Weeks 5 to 13

    05

    Site works

Partitions, MEP first fix, ceilings, finishes and joinery install, with a hold point before anything is closed up.

  6. Week 14

    06

    Snagging and handover

We walk every room with you, close the snag list, hand over drawings and manuals, and stay on call for twelve months.

Materials and finishes

Chosen by hand, in daylight.

Every project starts with a sample board. These are the finishes we come back to, and how we look after them in a Doha climate.

American walnut

Where we use it
Reception desks, wall panelling and doors.
Why
Stable once conditioned, and it darkens beautifully with light and age.
Care in Doha
We condition every veneer in the workshop for 72 hours before pressing, so it settles to the humidity it will live in.

Timelines and pricing

How long it takes, and roughly what it costs.

Pick a project type and slide to your floor area. A guide, not a quote. We give a fixed price after the survey.

Safety and quality

Quality is a habit, not a certificate on the wall.

  1. Toolbox talk on site every morning, in the crew's own language.
  2. Permits for hot works and work at height, signed before the work starts.
  3. Finished floors covered with protection board until the final clean.
  4. A full-size mock-up of every repeated detail before production.
  5. Hold points: no ceiling closes until MEP is tested and photographed.
  6. Thursday site report with photographs and the next week's plan.
  7. Snag list closed, with you, before we ask for the final payment.

The workshop

The workshop is half an hour from your site.

Our joiners make the panelling, doors and desks they later install. When a wall needs a 3 mm shadow gap, the person who cut it is the person who fixes it.

  • 1:1Every panel numbered to its drawing

Careers

Build things you will want to visit later.

We hire site engineers, joiners and coordinators who take pride in the last millimetre. Fair rotas, decent accommodation, and a workshop that buys the right tools before you have to ask.
