Our front desk team speaks Malayalam, English, Hindi, Tamil and Bengali. One of us reads Arabic, which helps when you bring reports from a hospital in the Gulf. If you need someone for another language, tell us when you request a slot and we will try to arrange it.

Insurance and TPA
Most outpatient visits are paid at the counter and claimed afterwards. Our billing desk gives you an itemised bill and fills in the clinic's part of your claim form on the same day. Ask at the desk before your visit if you are not sure your policy covers outpatient care.

In an emergency, do not wait for us
Thelima is an outpatient clinic, not an emergency hospital. For chest pain, breathing difficulty, a serious injury, sudden weakness or loss of consciousness, call 112 or go straight to the nearest hospital casualty.

After 8 pm
For our own patients with a question about a report or a prescription after 8 pm, the duty nurse answers +91 00000 00000 until 10 pm. After 10 pm, please call again from 8 am, or use 112 in an emergency.

Parking and access
Basement parking for 16 cars, free for patients. Two-wheeler parking along the side. A drop-off bay at the porch, a ramp at the side entrance and a wheelchair at the door: ask the security desk.

10 Your details സ്വകാര്യത
Your booking details stay with us
- When you request an appointment, we collect your name, mobile number, the department and day you chose, and any short reason you type. We use them only to arrange and confirm this appointment and to contact you about it.
- India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (No. 22 of 2023) says consent must be "free, specific, informed, unconditional and unambiguous with a clear affirmative action" (section 6(1)), so the consent box is never ticked for you.
- You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it (section 6(4)). Tell the desk or reply to our message, and we stop using your request details.
- We protect what we hold with "reasonable security safeguards to prevent personal data breach" (section 8(5)): booking details sit in a staff-only system, not in personal phones or group chats.
- We erase request details once they are no longer needed for the appointment, unless a law requires us to keep them (section 8(7)). Medical records made during your visit are kept as medical record rules require.
- You can ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you (section 11) and ask us to correct or erase it (section 12). Our grievance contact, as section 13 provides: privacy@thelima.example.
- This notice is available in English and Malayalam, as section 5(3) allows.
