05Accreditation and permits

Check us before you trust us.

In the UAE, a college needs a permit to operate and its programmes need academic approval. A real college lists both here, with reference numbers and a link to the authority that issued them, so you can check them yourself.

Institutional licence

Listed here on a live site, with the issuing authority and reference number.

Programme accreditation

Listed here on a live site, programme by programme, with approval dates.

Corvale College Dubai is a fictional brand made for a Marketlube concept build, so these slots are left empty on purpose.

06International students

Moving to Dubai to study, step by step.

Full-time students from outside the UAE usually study on a student residence visa sponsored by their college. Rules are set by the UAE authorities and change from time to time, so we confirm the current requirements with every student. In general terms, this is how it works.

  1. Your visa application starts once you are enrolled full time.

  2. Usually a passport with at least six months' validity, a passport photo on a white background, your offer letter and attested certificates.

  3. We apply for your entry permit. When it is issued you can travel to Dubai.

  4. After you arrive, you complete a medical fitness test and give biometrics for your Emirates ID. Our student services team books the appointments with you.

  5. Your student residence visa is issued for the length of your studies, renewed as needed. You need health insurance for the whole time.

07Campus life

A campus built for the heat, the hours and the people in it.

Six students sit on wide limestone steps under a ghaf tree in late-afternoon light, talking, drinking from paper cups and eating from takeaway boxes, while one reads a paperback
  • Shaded all the way

Colonnades link every building, so you can cross campus in August without leaving the shade.

  • Open late

Design studios and the computing lab stay open until 11 pm on weekdays. The library opens at 7 am.

  • Twenty-two student societies

From robotics and Model UN to calligraphy, futsal and a film club that books the lecture theatre on Thursdays.

  • Room for everyone

Prayer rooms for men and women, a women's lounge, a quiet room, and a Ramadan timetable with earlier classes and later studio hours.

Getting hereAl Barsha South, Dubai. A free shuttle runs every 20 minutes to the nearest metro station from 7 am to 10 pm.

08Careers

Careers support starts in your first term, not your last.

A grey-haired careers adviser in a light blue shirt talks with a student in a dark green abaya and black hijab who holds her CV, across a small round white table with a blue notebook and a potted olive tree
  1. One adviser for your whole degree

You see the same person each term to plan internships, modules and your CV.

  2. A credit-bearing internship in your third year

Eight to twelve weeks with a company in the UAE, assessed by your tutor.

  3. Live briefs every term

Companies set real problems, students pitch the answers.

  4. CV clinics, mock interviews and LinkedIn reviews

    Every week, booked online.

  5. Alumni mentoring

    For final-year students.

We do not publish placement rates on this concept site. A live site would show audited graduate outcomes, with the year and the method.

A note from the dean

We keep classes small so that nobody hides at the back, and we keep our fees public so that nobody is surprised at the front.
